Is it difficult to replace the heating rod?

Although replacing a sauna heating element is generally not an overly complex process, it does require a minimum of technical know-how and safety-conscious action. Let's go through this process in simple steps to clarify what it involves.

First of all, it must be emphasised that any work on electrical equipment - and this includes the sauna heater - is a potential hazard. Therefore, it is absolutely essential that the power supply to the sauna is completely switched off before starting any work. This prevents the risk of electric shock during replacement.

After the power supply has been switched off, the sauna heater must cool down before the heating rod can be replaced. Depending on the size of the sauna heater and the length of time it has been in operation, this may take an hour or more. It is essential that the heater is completely cooled down before you proceed to avoid injury from burns.

The next step is to remove the old heater and insert the new one. It is important to note that the new heater must match the old heater in both size and electrical specifications. Incorrectly sized or specified heating rods can cause problems and even damage the sauna heater.

If you are familiar with electrical installations and have the right tools at hand, it may well be possible to change the heating rod yourself. However, this should only be done if you are absolutely sure about what you are doing.

If you have even the slightest doubt about your skills or knowledge, it would be advisable to enlist the services of a professional. A professional can replace the heating element quickly and safely, minimising the risk of accidents or damage. This could be both safer and more cost effective in the long run.

In order to be able to order from the online shop, your shopping cart must reach a minimum price. The minimum order price for an order is 19,00 €.

Delivery times

If no other period is specified in the respective offer, the goods will be delivered within 1 - 2 days in Germany and within 1 - 6 days after conclusion of the contract in the case of deliveries abroad (after the time of your payment instruction in the case of agreed advance payment). Please note that there is no delivery on Sundays and public holidays. Items with different delivery times will be sent in one shipment, unless we have made different arrangements with you. In this case, the delivery time is determined by the item with the longest delivery time.
