What is a steam bath generator?

  1. Preparing the citric acid solution
    First mix 50 to 80 grams of citric acid with one litre of water to make your descaling solution. The exact amount of citric acid may vary depending on the hardness of the water and the degree of limescale deposits.
  2. Activating the steam generator
    Switch on the steam generator and let it run for about 10 minutes. This helps to loosen the existing limescale deposits and prepares the system for the descaling process.
  3. Safety shut-off
    After the activation phase, switch off the steam generator using the main switch. This is an important safety step to eliminate any risk of injury during the descaling process.
  4. Access to the water tank
    Remove the plug on the top of the steam generator. This allows access to the water tank into which the citric acid solution is filled.
  5. Filling the citric acid solution
    Carefully pour the prepared citric acid solution into the water tank. Make sure that no solution is spilled. Then replace the stopper to close the water tank securely.
  6. Reaction time
    Leave the citric acid solution to react for about one hour. During this time, the solution works to remove the limescale deposits.
  7. Completing the descaling process
    After the soaking time, switch the main switch back on. If the power failure memory is activated, the steam generator will start automatically without having to press button 1.
